Mock Up #1

This is my first mock up front cover, I have used a dark background with light writing to contrast eachother, I then used red in order to make the band logo further stand out, and add emphasis to the tagline. At the bottom of the page i have inverted the background/ writing as this makes the section catch the eye.

Name Research

I conducted a survey on what would be the best name for my magazine, the results are as follows:

Therefore the name of my music magazine will be Amplified, I now need to conduct a survey on the font that I will use.

Prelim- Contents Page

I have gone for a simple contents page, with the same background as the front cover, with the titles of the articles in the same colour scheme as the front cover, I then put a relative picture below the titles, along with a page number.

Prelim- Front Cover

This is the front cover of my preliminary newsletter. I have used a light blue background with dark blue and red alternating text. I have used a fun looking text to make the cover aesthetically pleasing and also make it stand out on the background. I have chosen the image as it ties in with the tagline of 'new computer suite'. It shows a student working on one of the computers.
